Waterfall Proposal

Background

Ashme and Tish planned a trip through Bali to experience the island’s nature, jungle scenery, and hidden locations away from the crowds. Tish had secretly planned a proposal deep in the jungles of Ubud beside one of Bali’s waterfalls. In the days leading up to the proposal, heavy rain had transformed the waterfall completely. Turning it into a powerful and dramatic backdrop that made the entire setting feel even more unreal.

The Vision

Tish wanted the proposal to feel cinematic and different from a traditional beach or cliff setup. The idea was to create an intimate scene surrounded by nature, with white florals, candles, and pyrotechnics placed directly beside the waterfall and in complete privacy.

What We Created

We designed the proposal setup at a hidden waterfall location in Ubud surrounded by dense jungle and flowing water. A floral arch framed the center of the space while white petals and candles covered the rocks around the proposal area. Because of the recent rain, the waterfall was far stronger than usual, filling the entire location with mist and movement. Once the proposal happened, pyrotechnics lit up the jungle around them, adding another layer of energy to the scene.

The Moment

As they arrived at the waterfall, the sound of the rushing water echoed through the jungle while mist rose around the setup. Tish led Ashme toward the floral arch surrounded by candles and flowers before getting down on one knee beside the falls. Moments later, pyrotechnics erupted around them while the waterfall crashed in the background, turning the proposal into an atmosphere that felt almost surreal.

The Result

For Ashme and Tish, the proposal became more than just a romantic moment. It felt like a full experience shaped by nature itself. The powerful waterfall, jungle setting, candlelight, and pyrotechnics created a proposal that was dramatic, emotional, and completely different from anything they had imagined.
