Dinner Proposal
Ubud, Bali
November 21, 2025
Riko and Steve from Japan always shared a connection that felt natural and effortless. Their relationship grew quietly but deeply, shaped by long talks, inside jokes, and the calm certainty that they were building something real. One evening, Riko mentioned, “If you ever propose, make it somewhere that feels alive, somewhere with energy.” Steve took that to heart.
He didn’t want a small, casual moment. He wanted something meaningful. A setup that felt warm, vibrant, and full of emotion without losing their sense of simplicity. A heart-shaped arrangement, a private dinner, and a touch of celebration that would make the moment unforgettable.
In an open pavilion overlooking the lush Ubud jungle, we built a floral heart in soft whites and warm tones, paired with a glowing “Will You Marry Me?” neon sign. The floor was covered with petals, candles framed the pavilion, and a romantic dinner table waited behind the arch. To bring the “alive” feeling Riko wished for, we added pyrotechnic spark fountains for the moment he asked.
Riko believed they were just visiting a scenic viewpoint before dinner. When she stepped into the pavilion and saw the glowing heart, her breath caught. Steve took her hand, reached into his pocket, and as the spark fountains lit up around them, he asked the question he had been preparing for months.
It was emotional, radiant, and full of life. Exactly the atmosphere Riko once dreamed of. With the jungle breeze, the heart-shaped arch, and the soft glow of candles and sparks, they celebrated with a private dinner and stepped into a new chapter together in the heart of Ubud.
